Schools have been out for a week (or more) depending on where you are from. Life, as we know it for the coming months, is unknown. It can feel scary, overwhelming, and exhausting. As we move forward, one of the biggest challenges during all of this as a parent will be carving out time to take care of yourself.

If you’re a stay at home parent, you have been deprived of the places and meetups that help to keep your sanity when looking after your children full time. If you are a working parent, it is already challenging enough to work, look after kids and then try to teach them. Adding in self-care will seem pretty impossible.

I know this because I am right here with you.

Taking time to look after myself feels impossible at times. The mental strain of what is going on in this world is hard to even comprehend. But, we need to look after ourselves and we should take time to fill up our cups.

This is why I have created the 5 Day Self Care Challenge.

Take five moments on five different days for self-care. I needed this and think that there are other parents that may need it as well.

Why five days?

Because it is meant to be doable and actionable RIGHT NOW. This is just a simple and easy challenge to remind yourself that you need to also take care of YOU!

Stay safe out there and take care of yourself!
